the two options are eraser and eyedropper and neither of them work, it's as if i'm not pressing it at all. The reason why the button works in your Illustrator but not in Photoshop is possibly because the shortcuts are different for these two software. not really sure what's wrong with it, i've checked the settings and the button is set to the eyedropper tool.
